New President of Frank Toyota: Gary Fenelli


Meet our new President of Frank Toyota, Gary Fenelli! 
While being President is his new title his focus and dedication to the San Diego community remain intact. Gary Fenelli is a native Californian who was born in Santa Monica before moving to San Diego. He attended Patrick Henry High School where upon completion enrolled into Mesa Junior College. After graduating Junior College, Fenelli went onto West Texas State University on a football scholarship before making his way back into San Diego State University to complete his Bachelors of Science in Economics. In 1974 Gary played for the San Diego Chargers as a linebacker and then his new career started in the family business. He worked at Fornaca Family Bakery and started his car business career at Frank Lincoln Mercury - Toyota and has continued to this point. To say Gary Fenelli didn't have his hands tied during the 1974 year would be an understatement. It was truly one of his wonder years. He was a San Diego Chargers Linebacker, worked for Fornaca Family Bakery in production while attending SDSU and eventually worked as a Sales Associate for Frank Motors.

Gary Fenelli has worn many hats throughout the years from Toyota Dealer Association President, to President of the Mile of Cars to even being part of the Honorary Deputy sheriffs Association and being an inspirational Speaker for Juvenile Hall and Youth detention facilities in San Diego. To this day Gary continues to prioritize one of great importance's Frank Fornaca bestowed upon the company ethos, giving back to the community with our youth. His career has spanned over 40 years with Frank Motors and is proud to have his three children actively involved in the operation along with his partner & Brother in law, Ron Fornaca and his niece.
